Saskatchewan! Healthy people. A healthy province.

Occupational therapy services are available from the health regions. Occupational therapists are part of the health care team, which also includes physical therapists, speech language pathologists, therapist assistants, and others.

Occupational therapy services are aimed at individuals of all ages, who have physical, mental or cognitive problems related to injury, disease, or disability. The goal of occupational therapy is to improve independence and participation in everyday activities. Typically, services would include assessment, intervention, consultation, prevention and education, as well as health promotion services. Services may be provided in acute care, rehab, long term care as well as community settings.
