Community and Primary Health Division Saskatchewan Disease Control LaboratoryThe Saskatchewan Disease Control Laboratory strives to identify, respond to and prevent illness and disease in the province. We offer diverse services ranging from routine testing of water supplies to disease outbreak identification and control. Our main clients are physicians, clinics, health centres and hospitals. We also provide services directly to the public through our Water Laboratory.
Did you know?Each year, the Saskatchewan Disease Control Laboratory performs approximately two million tests on clinical samples and conducts almost 200,000 water tests. The laboratory is the largest branch in Saskatchewan's Ministry of Health, with an operating budget of $21 million and approximately 160 staff. Contact us
